Punch Needle Rug Hooking is taking the fibre world by storm and here is your chance to try it! It is simple, instantly gratifying and fun to learn! You’ll be introduced to the basics of punch needle while creating a beautiful little landscape with gorgeous yarns that will be ready to display as soon as your punching is finished. Oxford Punch Needles may be borrowed during class time and purchased after if you wish.
SIMONE VOJVODIN – RED MAPLE RUGGERY
Simone Vojvodin is very passionate about teaching punch needle rug hooking and has been an Oxford Certified instructor since 2011. A nature and animal lover, she resides near Dutton, Ontario where she has her studio, Red Maple Ruggery. Simone loves designing patterns, dying wool, helping students, and of course punching rugs- which she describes as ‘paintings in wool’. Her rugs have been featured in exhibitions in Canada and the U.S.A., published in magazines and books, and have won multiple awards.
